Sense Mapping

Using Idilia's word sense disambiguation technology, sense mapping takes text, such as a blog post or news article, and adds external links to Wikipedia, Wiktionary, IMDB and MusicBrainz as well as to the Language Graph. These links add richness to documents, allowing the reader to delve more deeply into the subject matter of the text. Idilia's technology pinpoints the correct meaning of the word and links the reader to additional information on that specific person, place or thing. Links to Wikitionary can also provide definitions for technical or complex terms, making documents accessible to more readers.

Individual sensekeys and synsets in Idilia's semantic knowledge base (Language Graph Viewer) are linked to outside sources (Wikipedia, Wiktionary, IMDB and MusicBrainz) through our automatic mining process.

Sense Mapping will also allow providers of large amounts of content to create links between their documents and provide their users with subject-based index pages.
